Subject	messed up story about police and me

Message	I got pulled over this weekend for the offense of "liscence plate lights were going out" not out mind you, they work just fine, but apparently at some point during the 10 minutes this cop followed me they "appeared to be going out." Anyways I had just gone from a locking gas cap back to the stock one and for some reason it didnt seal right anymore so my car smelled like gas. Cop took this to be the smell of alchohol and made me do all the standard "are you drunk tests" which i passed easily. Not being satisified she asks to search my car which i decline. She then takes my information goes to her car comes back asks me to step out of the vehcile and places me under arrest, cuffs me and puts me in the back of her car. Reason for arrest? i have a warrant for a 185 dollar sound violation whcih she says is probably because of my car. Now that i am under arrest she searches my car (im not sure of my rights to search at this point since i "have a warrant") After searching my car and finding nothing she comes back, says the warrant is for a "bullshit" offense and lets me go, telling me to go to metro court first thing monday morning. My stupid ass doesnt get her badge number after being humiliated and cuffed in the back of her car for 30 minutes. When I call the court on monday i find out the following: I have NO warrants, and sound ordinance violations require 2 warnings and then it is a 50 dollar fine. So basically i got screwed by the cop so she could search my car.
